Octo Studio is a sculpture and design studio with a strong base of commission work for architectural interiors and furniture. Founded by sculptor Andrew Jevremovic, the studio is located in the Point Breeze neighborhood of South Philadelphia. Octo Studio specializes in one-of-a-kind, sculptural, modern wood and steel tables and seats. Each piece is handmade from highly figured, Pennsylvania hardwoods, utilising natural oil finishes to achieve the most durable and stunning of surfaces.
A special interest in bars and cafes inspired Jevremovic to design and build the craft beer restaurant Kraftwork in Fishtown, Green Street Coffee Shop on Spruce Street, Bingbing Dim Sum on East Passyunk Avenue and La Colombe cafe at the Ritz Carlton. In addition, the artist/contractor has designed and outfitted interior spaces in Soho, Tribeca, Chicago and Seoul, Korea, as well as custom cafe areas within several Old Nelson establishments in Philadelphia.
Octo Studio built its own cutting-edge wood workshop in 2010 with the assistance of a Creative Industry Workforce Grant from the City of Philadelphia. Metal fabrication occupies the former carriage house of an historic biscuit bakery on the same street. Jevremovic and his wife/business partner, River Algiers Trappler,  rehabilitated the abandoned bakery in 2000 as studio spaces for local artists and eventually revitalized the entire block into a thriving artistic community.
In 2019, we completed our biggest project to date: Octo Novo Point Breeze Rowhomes - a trio of modern, sustainable, solar-powered, all-electric town homes constructed in steel and reinforced concrete.
